My buddy and I were talking about shotguns, and we were trying to figure out which was better. Pump action is more reliable and cheaper. The semi-auto is faster and easier to handle.
Given the choice, I think I’d lean towards the semi auto. The recoil of a 12 gauge pump action shotgun is massive, and just kicks like a mule. Not sure if I’d want to go shoot something like that all afternoon. Here’s video comparing the two.
Something like this would be sweet… but it’s over $2k. Yikes! It’d be fun to become proficient at shooting and reloading it. Check this video out of this guy who has sleight of hand. Heh.
