Cars and Coffee Pt. 2

So I went out to another Cars and Coffee this morning. Since the weather was nice, I figured it’d be a great idea to get out there. The best part was that I was driving behind a brand new Porsche 991S, and we were flying pretty fast towards the same destination. Once we both arrived, we had a great time talking about cars.

Here’s a photo of his 991. Great comparison between old and new.

Shelby Cobra. What a great color combo.

Nissan 370Z Nismo edition. For whatever reason, I love Japanese cars in white.

Classic 911. This probably was the most rare and expensive car on the lot. It was remade with all original parts.

BMW 2002tii. This thing looked great in person.

M3. Not as rare, but boy are they great value and performance for the money.

Tricked out Lexus. Not particularly my favorite, but it drew a lot of attention from the crowd. To me, it looks pretty distasteful, but I guess there’s always something for everyone to love and hate.

Lambo. This thing looked bad ass.

My buddy Dullah and his wife came out with their newly purchased M5. He took me for a ride in it the last week, and boy this thing could pull. It’s what you call a sleeper. Really glad they came out today. Dullah knows his stuff, so it’s great soaking in his knowledge of cars.

Cars and Coffee

So I’ve been going to going to more Cars and Coffee recently, and I figured I’d make an effort to take some better photos. So I’ve been taking my SLR camera to these events. Anyway, here are some of my favorite ones from the full set. Enjoy!

This is a stunning Datsun 280ZX.

Not sure what car this is, but I love the natural light flare.

Classic 911. Wow, look at that blue. That’s what you call cyan.

Heh, you know who this is.

Another angle. Couldn’t help myself.

Not sure what this is, but it looked pretty exotic.

Z4 M coupe. Not my best photo, but I just wanted to show you what a driving instructor’s car looks like. Look at all the paint chips in the front. This guy has put some serious time on the track.

This is probably the meanest looking car in the lot. The dodge charger, front view.

Man, the weather was so nice this weekend. I only wish we had more days like this in the year. If you want to come out to a Cars and Coffee (in Northern Virginia) with me, hit me up.

Oh wait, here are a couple of bonus photos. They’re not particularly sexy, but it was just cool seeing them in person.

GTRs. Really like the white one.

Storm

We had a short, but intense storm this afternoon. Overall, it wasn’t nearly as severe as what was advertised… which is a good thing. This is a photo of the storm passing. Pretty gnarly looking clouds.
