So today I’m kicking it old school with some classic songs by Badly Drawn Boy. This is one of my favorite songs by BDB, and what’s even more awesome is that I found a live acoustic version performance. Make sure you check out the original version.

On a side note, the movie “Badly Drawn Boy” had an incredible soundtrack. It featured BDB and had a nice score. Here’s one of my favs.

Looks like it’s another birthday for Foo. I’d like to share a couple things I’ve learned about Foo over the last few years.

1. He doesn’t like his photo taken. The photo above is all I really have of him.

2. If there’s one super hero Foo would be, he’d choose Wolverine.

3. Foo doesn’t like vegetables.

4. Foo prefers butts to boobs, on most days.

5. There is only one Foo. All others are copy cats, and will be known as a foogazi.

I started reading a new book, “High Output Management” by Andrew S. Grove. It’s a pretty easy read, and it highlights the attributes of good managers. Here’s a quote that I picked up recently:

The output of a manager is the output of the organizational units under his supervision or influence.

It’s a pretty simple concept, but it makes sense. Looking forward to finishing this one up. I’m not usually into reading these kinds of books, but it’s good to be reminded of what good managers are made of.
