the paint was still a little wet on this one… but dry enough to do a thin layer of dark brown and sienna. i need to add another layer of yellow and white next. it’s about 25% finished. see the previous progress blog.

i was able to start on two new paintings as well tonight. i made pretty decent progress on the base layer for this one. it’s not coming out exactly as i hoped, but i’m trying to loosen up a little. this should be done in maybe two more passes… but it’s going to probably take it 2 weeks to dry before i can even touch it again. the paint is layered thickly.
