After a successful sprint, @willmeyer took us out to race some go karts. I’ve played a lot of gran turismo, but there’s no replacement for the real thing. What a blast!
There are a couple of lessons learned:
1. Only use brakes when slowing down on the straights
2. Make sure you’re hydrated before you do 40 laps
3. Lastly, always try to find the line for the next turn.
What’s really funny is, my car felt so mushy after go karting. Man, it makes me want to get something like a mini cooper.
Even if you’re not into racing or cars, go take your team out. It’s fun, and it leaves you excited to race with your comrades again. Ps. I ended up being first place in second tier bracket.
