I want to be somewhere nice and quiet. After trying to deal with the constant problem of neighbors making noise at 3am in the morning, I realized that this is not the long term solution for life.
For a long time, I’ve had a deep desire to find land where I could a life that’s mostly self sustained. I’d like to find a place that’s far from malls, traffic, and people… a place where I don’t have to share walls, food, water, and even air.
I’m not sure how the cards will play out, but life has never been so clear. After being sleep deprived because of noisy neighbors, stuck in endless traffic, and hearing loud construction below me at work, I’ve discovered that the only way to live a better life (for me) is to retreat from urban density.
This would be the maximum size community for me. Gotta love the swiss.
