Here’s one by Bowie, from his album Outside. I wish he and Mike Garson did more work like this. This is one of my all time favorite albums and cherished songs. I remember driving 7 hours from college back to Rochester NY to Richmond, sleep deprived… and enjoying some of the finer things, like this.
Bowie was supposed to release a song called “Ebola Jazz” in a follow up album… unfortunately, it never happened. I could imagine it being even better than A Small Plot of Land.
