I just finished the first season of Dual Survival. The show features two guys that are thrown into the wilderness, ranging from freezing weather, deserts, to swamps. Their goal is to find civilization and demonstrate dual survival skills.
I prefer Les Stroud’s Survivor Man better (since it’s more authentic), but Dual Survival is very entertaining. It’s fun to see these two guys build shelter, hunt for food, and start fire. They have different strategies, but their goals are the same.
After watching the show, I feel like I need to carry around a lighter or magnesium striker everywhere I go.
