I installed a new door knob/handle this weekend. It just makes life a little easier, and ensures that the door is always locked. It’s a fun project I’d recommend to anyone. The product advertises that the battery lasts 3 years. I think it also beeps to indicate if the battery is low, which is nice.

While there are more high tech versions of these door knobs out there, I like how simple and straight forward this one is.
