The Hobbit

I went to watch The Hobbit with Annie this weekend. We saw the standard 24fps version (which I prefer). The movie has a lot of continuity between the Lord of the Rings movies, in terms of story, characters and music. The landscape in this movie, however, was absolutely astonishing. If there’s a movie you should watch on the big screen, this is the one.

  1. So true. The imagery of Jackson’s film trilogies is absolutely overwhelming – thanks to John Howe’s and Alan Lee’s work (such an effort can never be done by two people alone but they are the visionaries who have drawn Middle-earth for these productions.)
