Improvised Asian Beef Stew

So this weekend Annie and I got a nice rack of beef ribs and threw it in the pressure cooker. We seasoned it with salt, pepper, ginger, onion, garlic, chinese 5 spice, and much more.

45 minutes in the pressure cooker pretty much made the meat fall off the bone. It was probably one of the most delicious meals we’ve had.

The flavor was awesome, and almost reminded me of a simplified version of pho. What’s kind of crazy is I think we could probably do an authentic pho in 45 minutes with a pressure cooker.

On a side note, we cook some more steak again. I think I’ve got it down to a science now. Looking forward to using my new 12″ cast iron pan soon.
