I’m thinking about remodeling my kitchen. At first I was going to just update the sink and countertop (since they’re a little old), but after thinking about it, I want to try designing it.
Here’s a photo of what I’m imagining, in terms of color and theme. As you know, my living room wall is red, and this would tie in nicely. Hopefully it won’t be too much red.
The only thing I may do differently is go with a white counter top instead.
What do you think? Too much red?

This visualization reminds me of playing Civilization, the game. The histomap shows the growth and decline of different civilizations—pretty interesting to see which ones were completely wiped off the map. I highly recommend reading Guns, Germs and Steel if you like this.

I took Annie by Belle Isle in Richmond friday afternoon. Going there brought back memories of Seal Team PT. I witnessed some of the most incredible sunrises running across that bridge in the morning.
Caught some really nice size puppy drum fish this weekend with Annie at my parent’s river house. Each fish weighed about 5.6lbs.
Pretty awesome! Might have to go back again this weekend just to try again. ^_^
Damn, there’s been a water leak in my utility room for the last couple weeks. Apparently it’s molded up my walls. Annie and her dad came by this afternoon to help me unclog the AC unit.
Hopefully the AC’s fixed now. I’ll have to figure out how much it’s going to cost to repair the walls now. *Sad Trumbone*
