On my trip back to the east coast, I spent some time with my dad at the river house. I snapped a couple pics of him doing dad things.
I’m not sure what it is about this photo, but I’m really digging the depth.
It’s kind of funny that I’m using an old school DSLR, while he’s using his camera phone.
I’m not sure what kind of plants these are, but they sure make for a beautiful canvas. I might have to rent an old petzval lens or a nikon 58mm 1.4g. I’ve heard that it creates some dreamy images with tons of character.
Here’s a picture of my dad showing me his garden. He actually made me some soup with some vegetables he grew—and I have to say, they were pretty darn delicious.
It’s a nice broth with pork and noodle. Simple and tasty.
