It’s always fun sitting down with the team and figuring out seating arrangement. The illustration below shows how people interact with each other. Each color represents a different team. Dotted lines represent a semi connection between people.
The challenge of seating arrangement is getting the people to work around each other, as well as encourage collaboration with new people. The other secret challenge is making everyone happy… unfortunately, there are better seating positions than others. Already, I’m noticing my new seat is in a main traffic area. We may need to make some adjustments, but it shouldn’t be a big deal.
