On our way back from the river house, we stopped for a bit to eat. I forgot how beautiful the skies were here. Too bad the city skyline isn’t that interesting.

Sunset at the Riverhouse
Another amazing sunset at my parent’s river house last night.
The lighting was spectacular. I probably should have grabbed a time lapse of it. Damn.
Milky Way Time Lapse (Fail)
Unfortunately, the last two night skies have been filled with overcast. I’m actually surprised I was able to snag a photo of Andromeda.
By the way, if you haven’t seen it already, there’s a pretty cool video that shows the Andromeda galaxy in an amazing amount of detail. The fact that it’s over 2.5 million light years away blows my mind. I’m really hoping I get get a better picture of it in the future.
Happy Birthday Dad!
Dad turned 68 this month. It’s nice to see him do one of his favorite things—catching crabs.
