After a month, everything is back to normal. Whew. As one of my buddies said, “It’s like seeing an old friend again”.

Really enjoying the stuff coming out of Seven Lions. They’re consistently awesome. This one is called, “The Truth”.

The entire AddThis team in VA went go karting on friday, last week. It was interesting to see the competitive side of our team. There were good drivers, bad drivers, and some psycho drivers.

Good news is that I felt like I’ve improved dramatically as a driver. My fastest lap time was 24.9s… it’s reasonable. Sadly, it wasn’t enough—our team came in 6th place (out of 10). *sigh*

Damn… first place got some sweet trophies. Congrats to them! *grumble*
Ashton Kutcher channeling some of Steve Jobs in his speech. Sadly, some of the message was lost in the girls screaming in the audience. Not sure how much actually got through to them.

Last night I went by Walmart to pick up some food. I cooked boneless chicken thigh with broccoli and korean rice. The chicken was marinated in soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, salt, pepper for about an hour. They were then pan fried for 10-15 minutes.

The broccoli was boiled for 2 minutes and then pan fried over olive oil, oyster sauce, and kosher salt. I added a little water to help create a light sauce with it.
It turned out pretty well. It’s a simple go to recipe that takes less 20 minutes to cook (after you marinate the chicken).
So this is definitely next on the menu for me to try cooking. Need to get a small food processor first though.
